Jamie Thomas King is an English-American actor known for his performances on stage in the Royal National Theatre's production of Alan Bennett's The History Boys and acclaimed TV shows like AMC's Mad Men and Showtime's The Tudors and films including Mike Leigh's Mr Turner.

In 2016, Jamie took a hiatus from the entertainment industry to establish

The Benjamin King Foundation in memory of his late son, Benjamin, who lost his life due to preventable medical error.

In 2023, Jamie co-founded Blackbird Productions with his wife, Tamara Podemski.

 

Jamie served as executive producer and star of their first short film; 

The Light Before the Sun, which premiered at The Hamilton Film Festival on October 26th 2024.
